Where do you do your daily studying and studying for test prep? Do you do it in your dorm, room, do you go to the library, where can you concentrate better?

I'm all library all the time. I like to find a quite little corner or one of the sound proof rooms. Empty class rooms are bad either.

I act like I"m ADD when I study so i need no distractions

Anywhere but home. Too many distractions there. I prefer a large, sturdy table in an open atrium with light traffic and noise to drown out my own thoughts so I can study.

I put my headphones in and turn on music- could be classical, could be Pantera....just depends on the mood.

Yup....that's right...music makes the difference....Sean Paul, A Keys, Jack Johnson, Mozart, Shakira, Juanes, System......musiz gets me through studying 🙄

on my bed with the tv on. i'm being serious. it scares me when it's too quiet. the only time when I study at the library is when I have a long day and I don't really have time to go home between classes.

I try to study in different places...so when i loose my focus, a change of scenery helps

sometimes i study in the library, sometimes at starbucks, sometimes in the lounge in my building, or on the windowsill of my apartment window...i find i get refocused when i move to a different environment

i do the same thing; studying @ home has too many distractions, and + i feel that if you study in a more structured atmosphere, it forces u to focus

no...not latina...I just love Spanish 😍 I am trying to learn. So, listening to music is fun, including Shakira (her Spanish songs) and Juanes ...."A dios le pido" and "La Camisa Negra" are my fav songs... 😍

the best way to study is to go through your notes for 30 minutes immediately after your lecture. even though it may be really painful to do that, it will save hours when cramming for exams.

damn, i should have taken my own advice as i'm pulling an all nighter for a course i haven't done any work all semester.

I used to be unable to study at home, but I discovered that I get more done at home, because I have everything I need within a few feet (namely, snacks and water). That way I don't have to keep getting up or having to walk back home when I get hungry/tired, I can just take a break right where I am, watch 1/2 hour of TV, etc.

I usually only leave my apartment to study somewhere else if my roomate is annoying me.

I used to study at my apartment or the library all the time. I loved the library at VCU because we have a designated "quiet floor" all the other floors are for group study or for those who can't study in that environment. We can also bring food in to snack on. I used to think I have to study in total silence but months ago I started studying at Barnes n Noble and I love it. I can get myself a drink and sit down and read by myself of with friends. Its a good place to study.....there or starbucks.

I usually study in the park. It's so peaceful and beautiful. Best of all, hardly any birds to poop on your head this time of year. And there are few kids who go on the swings-- I can hog those all day long!
I can't study in my school library because there are people making out between book aisles and making weird noises...its disturbing and disgusting.

I always fall asleep at the library. Home is where I tend to study best. Who knows though when school comes yet again. Now I am living with someone and that may be a total distraction--at least when they are home. I need some type of noise, preferrably music.

Usually at home, for some reason I can never get anything done at the libary. It's not the noise, its just I end up talking/helping people than acually studying.
