I had emails regarding receipt of my app from:

Louisville
MWU
VCU
Michigan
Nova
 
I just received a UF supplemental application invitation via email.

Mail date: 7/2

I just called Michigan and they said that they won't even be sending out confirmation e-mails until mid-august (my app was mailed on 7/2). I've seen a few people report that they've heard from Michigan which confuses me...😕

Dohhh, sorry I didn't mean to include Michigan. I haven't been emailed by them yet. I received an email from VCU today. Sorry 'bout that.

No I did not receive an email from her.

I suspect your letter from Dr. Patty Xirau-Probert may have been because of your ethnic/cultural background (seen at your PreDents page).

Should be nothing to worry about.

I though it might be because i personally know her because she comes down to my school every year to talk about UF. But you might be right.

I'm speculating, but I think the UF secondary invitation and simultaneous interview invitation is unique to Florida residents.

Non-Florida residents do not get an interview invite along with the secondary invitation simultaneously.

Non-Florida residents will get a secondary invite, and then later receive an in-person interview after review of the secondary.
 
On second thought, and upon review of others stats, I don't think residency has anything to do with getting an interview at UF.

I'm nervous now. 🙁
 
Oh ok i didn't know they did that. they told me i need to send my letters of recommendation in, AADSAS is taking a while with those. BTW what day is your interview at UF.
 
Got an email from Indiana this morning (app received).
 
Mailing Date: 7/16

Heard from:

IUSD- app received (In-State)
Boston- Request for $ (still haven't sent that out yet 🙄)
ASDOH- Secondary App Confirmation (app received, will be processed)
Midwestern (AZ)- App received, app fee received
Midwestern (IL)- supplemental app (still filling out), sent me a tempting email titled "Greetings from the MWU director of admissions" this AM, I was hoping it was an interview invite, but no.)
Louisville- app received, app fee received (COMPLETE 🙂)

Haven't heard from:

NYU (I haven't sent out my check yet though)

I am waiting on my DAT retake before I send my $$ to NYU/BU since I don't want my app to be considered "complete" with my old DAT scores. My app is on 'hold' I believe at all other schools except MWU-AZ.

ucla ask for soooo much stuff!!!! high school transcript...really?

Congrats! Mine still says "Received/Under Review". I don't know if it's good or bad that I haven't gotten an interview invite yet from them. At least I haven't been rejected yet 🙄
 
I dont see anything about nova on my aadsas school decision page. not even their name! I have received the pdf copy of my 2ndary tho. Should I be concerned? 🙄

its been a week since i submitted my Nova supplemental and there is no indication on AADSAS.

it looks like all you guys submitted the secondary about a week ago as well, so im kinda worried

It showed up for me today and I submitted last Monday (7/12). Anything after that day, I would wait a bit and not worry so much.

I was in the 7/2 mailing also and got an email from them. All it said was who to send the check to and that they won't look at apps until October. If you didn't get that you might want to check with them since I got it over a week ago.

my bad, thanks threeblindmice. i got an email from tufts jul 14 and mailed the check. yeah it said give us 6-8 weeks to process.
 
Hey guys, my mailing date is 7/23 but I think AADSAS sent it today because it says MAILED.
Anyways, how long did it take your applications from the mailing date to reach dental schools that do not download directly from AADSAS but prefers a hard copy of your application?
By the way, I live in Cali so i'm assuming it would take longer to reach Cali schools because AADSAS is sending it from Massachusetts..

schools will have access to your application and most of them won't wait for hard copy.If your application is complete, you will hear from them very soon. Good luck
