Just got an AADSAS update from UF (University of Florida).

Application Received/Awaiting additional application. There was a side note that said that application review will take longer than last year. 😱

Mailing date: 7/2
 
Has anyone from 7/9 mailing who turned in their Nova supplemental around 7/14 NOT hear from them yet?

someone posted he was from 7/23 mailing and had an AADSAS update of received/under review. I turned in my stuff 7/14 and still have no AADSAS update 😕 Nova isnt even on my school decisions page

also is there a number to call their dental admissions? nobody picks up!

i was on the 9th too and submitted theirs on 17 and got their email and aadsas status..call em up
 
My mailing date is for 7/30

UIC and UMDNJ both asked for the $85 fee

Take this with a grain of salt. I don't think those scores are competitive, but I think they have great potential. You've laid a great foundation your first 2 years and can raise your GPA to a 3.6-3.7 with a lots of sciences courses and hard work. Good luck =)

haven't heard from them yet, and i submitted around that time. but aadsas says received/under review.
 
did anybody get their WesternU status upgraded to complete on their website?
 
I just heard from Maryland. The e-mail stated that my application was processed and was forwarded to the committee for review. However, my committee LOR is not uploaded yet to AADSAS, so I'm not sure if Maryland will wait for it.

It seems that there weren't many updates today. Hopefully dental schools will be more productive tomorrow in giving updates 😳

I think I completed mine on 7/8. That secondary is really short....
 
What was the date that you got an invite to Midwestern and date you completed secondary? I completed mine 7/16 and haven't heard anything...do you think that is still too early? Thanks...keeping my fingers and toes crossed 🙂

I'm assuming you meant 7/16? I completed mine around 7/8 and then I got an interview around the 10th...something like that.

Under Supplemental Materials... Official DAT Scores: Not Received

taking it on Saturday! :xf:

You must have great stats to get an interview that soon...or mine are just aweful 😕. If you don't mind me asking...what are your stats? Thanks!

I don't have STELLAR stats, just kinda average I guess.

GPA: 3.65
sGPA: 3.55
AA:19/TS:20/PAT:20/RC:23


I do have some really good EC's though. How are your stats looking?

Your stats are looking great...
3.4 18/18/23...retaking the DAT next month. Over 100 assisting in community health centers/excellent LOR's/Hundreds of community service hours.. Not sure if that will help offset my stats. Studying 8 hours a day hoping for a 22!...we'll see. I figure it doesn't hurt to apply.

Yea, good luck on your DAT. I think if you can get a 19 or 20 you should be good. 👍

Yar, I don't have great stats either: 2.85/3.05. (gah...so embarassing admitting that here.) No worries, though. I don't want just any spot at MWU. I just want Lmaozedong's. 😛

We spend so much time on the primary application, and then a secondary is like dishing out a triathlon to an athlete that just ran 100 miles.

Anybody else get Loma Linda secondary invite?

Im trying to log in and we cant type all of our AADSAS number in the ID to log in....

Waiting on Columbia, Michigan, Detroit Mercy & Harvard.

Has anyone heard from these? I know Michigan isn't sending stuff out for a while, but I see that some of you have heard from Columbia with a later mailing date than 7/2... hm...

also, the only school's status that has been updated on AADSAS is BU.
 
i got LLU's secondary too....i knew the school was religious but i'm not SDA and after reading their mission and stuff, i think if i end up there i'd be miserable so i think i am cancelling my app and not doing the secondary 😱

so for LLU hopefuls there is one less person in the applicant pool!

as for AADSAS only BU, UB, and VCU are on mine the rest that have gotten to me have done so thru email or snail mail, but i did get an email from Columbia saying they got my completed app and my mailing date was 7/9

This is kind of what I figured before I applied. I was tempted to apply based on their stats, OOS friendliness and average DATs, but personally it's not a school that I would really want to go to. 🙄

i know i should have gone on my instincts but at the last minute i added it because of the stats and now i realize that i was right and wasted 72 dollars, but i guess at least i didnt pay the secondary fee and wasted another 75 😀

Waiting is terrible!

Judging from last years posts, it appears that the end of this week will be the time that first interviews and rejections are released for quite a few schools! :scared:

When you guys confirmed your interview for nova, did they just ask for your name and thats it? Is the status supposed to change from invited for interview to like interview pending on aadsas?
 
vcu status is received/under review, but under the supplemental info it says they are waiting for my official DAT scores. i faxed them my unofficial scores, b/c on their website it says that they allow this...you think they'll review my app with the unofficial scores? or wait for the official ones first?

from what I understand, they WILL review your app w/ only faxed scores. i was also told that they would begin reviewing your app prior to receiving your fee and photo...
