Where is H202 produced?

Hey guys just wondering about where hydrogen peroxide is produced, i keep reading its produced in respiration, but for some reason can't find where ( in what step). anyway I am just reviewing peroxisomes and catalase and I am trying to tie it all together, if you can help, it would be much appreciated.

Hydrogen peroxide is generated in vivo by the dismutation of superoxide radical (O2

−), both non-enzymatically and catalyzed by superoxide dismutase enzymes. Hydrogen peroxide is also directly produced by a range of oxidase enzymes including glycollate and monoamine oxidases as well as by the peroxisomal pathway for β-oxidation of fatty acids

Okay great, thank you, so I am still trying to look at the big picture here, what I have found is that some larger or more branched fatty acids that the mitochondria might not be able to handle, will go to peroxisomes for B-oxidation, where instead of producing FADH2 in the first step H2O2 is produced instead. and then is immediately broken down by catalase. Does this sound accurate? Thanks again for your help!
