Where should I apply out of state?

Hello, everyone! I currently live in California, and I plan on applying to UCSF and UOP. I'm trying to compile a list of out-of-state schools that accept a high percentage of out-of-state students. The following are my statistics: Hello, all! cGPA: 3.37, sGPA: 3.35, AA: 23, TS: 21, PAT: 23.

This is a list of schools I plan on applying to that, based on my research so far, accept a decent proportion of out of state students:

1. Meharry
2. U of Maryland
3. Midwestern
4. U of Texas - Houston
5. UNLV
6. University of Louisville
7. University of New England
8. Virginia Commonwealth University

Is there any other school I can maybe add to my list? Thank you!

try UConn, Stony brook, Creighton, University of Pittsburg, Case Western Reserve

uconn and stony brook are hard to get into but give in state after one year.

for MWU, you should only apply to MWU AZ, mwu il is more expensive in tuition but does not have the facility near MWU-az.

unless you have a mom-child tie to texas any texas school will take ur money and send you a 2$ paper (a rejection letter in white envelope)

What do you mean "Uconn and Stony Brook are hard to get into but give in state after one year"? ALSO, I am applying to UOPittsburgh! I just forgot to add it here. They only accepted 4/80 from California this past year.

as you know there are private schools (dont care about In state or out of state at all, and charge ridiculously expensive tuition) and public school (care about in state and out of state because it is funded by state tax).

Uconn, UNLV, Stony brook are the public school that accepts a fair amount of out of state students that allow them to change to in state residence after 1 year and have much lower in state tuition.

a lot of public schools dont do this. when public schools accept Out of state students, those remain on expensive out of state tuition for 4 years.

Dude it's a crapshoot.
TX schools only accept a few OOS a year among all 3. But that's still a few people that got in.

Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Yeah... Don't apply to Houston, being OOS with that GPA, bad idea.

Also, only apply to Meharry if you're an URM.

I am Mexican. Why should I only apply as an URM?

What is an URM? Why?

An underrepresented minority. Getting an acceptance at Howard or Meharry without being an URM is very rare.
