Hey guys! I have been lurking around the forums for a while and finally need some help! I recently took my OAT's and I did well in some areas and sucked it up in others (more on that in a bit). I have a gpa around a 3.25 and have shadowed for two separate doctors for two years.

My OAT was QR 340 RC 390 Bio 240 Gen Chem 300 Org Chem 270 Phys 260 and Ts 260 and AA of 300 and I plan on re-taking the OAT in September

admittedly I BOMBED the bio section, I haven't had a bio class past 120(intro bio) and Zoology yet, but the classes such as Micro and Cell Bio are registered to be taken this upcoming semester and the next. Will schools give me a slight break due to not having the Bio classes yet?

With this GPA/OAT/Shadowing Experience, where do I have the best chances? I want to narrow the schools I have a chance at for OptomCAS submission reasons

Seriously with those scores wait to apply when you've taken it again. September is still ok.

Yeah, I would wait until you re-take. Schools typically don't like to see scores below 300, but a 280 or 290 in a section can be okay, from what I have heard. You've still got plenty of time. Research the various schools and see which ones you like. Location is a big factor for most. Good luck.
