I'm HS senior and I've been accepted to the 6 year program at USP, ACP, and MCPHS. I know MCPHS has 30% attrition and ACP is on probation and going through some changes. Can anybody please comment on these schools academically and student life.

Go to Boston or Philadelphia. I wouldn't go to a boring town such as Albany, ACP also has an attrition rate of 30% btw. That's why they were under probation

Before making statements that ACP is on probation due to the attrition rates some people should look for the details and know the facts. ACP is in fact on probation, please see other posts I have made to get all of the details. ACP is not on probation due to attrition rates, new standards were put out by ACPE in July 2007 and ACP just hasn't moved fast enought to implement the new guidlines/standards. The school has been in the process but it takes time to get things passed by all parts of the school and to implement. No school in ACPE history has lost its accredidation due to the reasons ACP was put on probation, the probation is just to put an extra push on the college to get the changes done quicker. Second, Albany is a great place to live. There is proctors theater, the palace theater, the times union center, crossgates shopping mall, historic lark street full of night clubes, restaurants and cafes, along with stuyvesant shopping plaza where there are tons more of stores, cafes, restaurants, etc. There is never a dull moment in Albany or at the college. There are constant casino nights (playing for thousands of dollars worth of prizes) along with trips to actual casinos, shopping outlets, NYC, boston, pre-release screenings of new movies every friday night, bingo night to win tons of money, and the list just continues to grow. ACP truly caters to each student and works to make sure the students who want to be here stay here and make it through with as little stress as possible.. THe program is hard, no matter where you go, but with constant office hours and peer tutoring there is no reason why a student should not succeed at ACP....

im stuck between MCPHS, USP, and Palm Beach Atlantic. I'm from jersey and I think the Boston area is so much nicer than Philly. MCPHS was my 1st choice but now i'm not sure anymore because i keep hearing about their high drop out rate and it seems like their program is a lot harder than USP's.

Do NOT go to Palm Beach Atlantic. It is NOT 0-6 and you have to apply just like everyone else.

MCPHS-Boston, historically, has always had a high drop-out even when my aunt went there and she was lucky to get through in the early to mid 1980s.

Go to USP hands down.

You should not care too much about the place where you go to school.
You just want your degree.

Yes, I know North Philadelphia and Camden, NJ are LOVELY places, though!!!
