Where should I start?????

Welcome to the forum... Don't listen to these guys...

You need to start in your college text books. Most people will read their entire biology, gen chem, and o-chem text books. Sometimes they will read it multiple times. You need to work every problem out there, so you are totally ready. Best of luck!

Ha sorry, I should have put a "😉" after it to imply my tone.

OP it all depends on how strong of a foundation you've already built in the sciences and how much time you have. Here's a good place to start if you feel a little weak in the material and have 2-3 months of study time.

If you've only got a few weeks, jimmpannzee's breakdown is worth checking out. He killed with three weeks of studying, and provides the (very detailed) schedule he followed.

I think rereading your orgo I/II book is excessive, as most college textbooks go into more detail than you really need to know for the DAT, (diels alder comes to mind...). May be a viable tactic for biology, though.

I never read any textbooks for my DAT studies and did very well. Personally, I think there are more efficient uses of time than using whole books, but we all have different methods that work for us.

Chad's videos for GC and OC and QR, Barron's AP Biology, Cliff's AP Biology, Crack the DAT PAT, and the Math Destroyer are the BEST bang for you buck.

Check my breakdown! It's in my signature.

Agreed, and I also found the DAT Destroyer to be very very helpful.

Guys i was also totally kidding. Sorry, it is hard to convey sarcasm over the internet.

Reading text books is probably one of the least efficient ways to study.

Hah! I was afraid you WEREN'T kidding, since you were dismissing the other sarcastic comments! I find myself using lots of smileys so people can hopefully get what I'm saying... 😛

What is the best material to study for DAT?

The actual prometric exam that you'll be taking. 😀

I just used DAT Destroyer, CrackPAT, Chad's Videos (for Chemistry only), Cliff's AP Biology, and Wikipedia.

I used Chad's for gen chem and DAT destoyer. I also used crack the DAT.
