Hi all, sorry for the typical "what are my chances" post. But I'm freaking out a little bit and could use some guidance.
About myself: Canadian citizen, Completed undergraduate at University of Toronto. Poor GPA due to depression in the first two years. Started graduate student (research based) at University of Toronto and finishing my thesis shortly.
Applying to both MD and DO. My stats:
AMCAS verified undergraduate GPA: 3.35cGPA (upward trend--> 2.74,3.16,3.46,3.67, 3.61)
4.0 graduate GPA

AACOMAS GPA: same as AMCAS

MCAT: 505 (PS 126, CaRS 123, BS 130, PSY 126)

EC: 210 hours of volunteering at the hospital, some community work, LOTS of research, 1 poster presentation in international science conference. 2 university journal publication, 1 abstract publican, 1 primary article publication is under review.
Part of university fencing team, participated in national/ intercollegiate tournaments.
Very strong LOR's.

Already submitted my primary application to AMCAS and AACOMAS. LOR's are all in and just submitted secondary applications to AZCOM, CCOM and MSUCOM.

I'd like to know, overall, what would be my chances of getting into MD/DO schools and would you recommend any specific school which I'd have good chance getting into. ANY FEEDBACK is appreciated!

Forgot to mention, Im an immigrant, middle eastern background and English is not my primary language. Moved to Canada ~ 7 years ago

Your best chances will be at DO schools that accept internationals, so you need to expand your DO list. @Goro can help you with that

Do you have an MD list? I've heard Michigan schools are Canadian friendly so Wayne state and Oakland may be a good start. Others can help. Get MSAR if you haven't already

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm applying to almost all schools in Michigan. I have 17 MD and 10 DO schools to apply to. The list for the MD is:

Michigan State university collage of human medicine
Chicago Medical school at Rosalin Franklin
Georgetown University School of Medicine
New York medical college
Central Michigan University
SUNY upstate
Virginia Commonwealth University
Wayne State University
Medical College Wisconsin
Sidney Kimmel Medical College
George Washington University School of Medicine
West Virginia University School of Medicine
University of Utah Shcool of Medicine
University of Kentucky College of Medicine
Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine
Stony Brook University School of Medicine
University of Maryland School of Medicine

And for the DO:
Midwestern - Arizona
Midwestern University Chicago
Western University (Panoma)
Nova southeastern
University of New England Osteopathic
Michigan State (Osteopathic)
Kansas City University
Philadelphia COM
Touro COM
Lake Erie COM

You MCAT score is lethal for MD schools, even if you were a US citizen.

For DO from your list, I recommend:
Midwestern - Arizona
Midwestern University Chicago
Western University (Panoma) [it's Pomona]
Nova southeastern
University of New England Osteopathic
Michigan State (Osteopathic)
Kansas City University
Philadelphia COM
Touro Ca not NY
Lake Erie COM

Thanks! So basically get rid of all the MD schools?
Not even a good chance on the low tier ones?
For the DO schools I really want to get into MSUCOM. Do you think I'll have a good chance?

Utah and Kentucky take very few OOS applicants

Georgetown gets so many apps that it will be difficult to garner and interview, especially as an international

Your MD list is broad enough, but I am unsure if you will be able to get an interview as an international with your stats. As @Goro said, your primary focus should be on DO schools.

Yes and no.
