Where to find stats for interviews and accptances?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You can get stats of #applied, #interviewed, % accepted, and #accepted of all 144 or so medical schools in the US including DO and MD schools here:

http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/grad/directory/dir-med/dirmedindex_brief.php

It is the USNews rankings but it also has all kinds of details on schools. You have to purchase the premium online edition which costs $10 but lasts a whole year. I bought it last year when I applied and it was very helpful. It let me see how good my chances were before going into the interview.

It also gives tuition and financial information and what % of students at the school get their top choice in residency. I highly recommend it.

Last year it had information for about 18 DO schools. It didn't have information on the rest because some schools chose not to fill out their survey.

go to www.mdapplicants.com

It has all of that stuff for both allopathic and osteopathic schools.

You should note that posting on this website is somewhat self-selecting so stats will appear slightly higher than the entire applicant pool.

Your school library might have a copy of Princeton Review that has the info about Osteo schools.
