Hey guys, hope you're enjoying your summer
I guess I should start with my stats (this isn't a "what are my chances" post, I promise):
SO... here's my plan. I'm aware it involves a lot of risk, but it will at least set me up (hopefully) for a career in research in the event I'm thoroughly rejected. It's also not as if I'm NOT interested in studying pharmacology, my plan B is drug R&D:
Am I on the right path? I mean, I'm taking another year of undergrad courses to boost my GPA, but even then I don't think it will be enough. I don't want to have a full year of nothing after my post-bacc waiting on apps, which is why graduate study seems like the right path.
I appreciate brutal honesty; please don't hold back. Thank you in advance, you guys rock.

I guess I should start with my stats (this isn't a "what are my chances" post, I promise):
- Canadian Applicant
 - 3.43 cGPA, 3.36 sGPA (graduated McGill Biochemistry in May)
 - 34O MCAT (12 PS, 9 VR, 13 BS), July 2008
 - Solid EC's, but lacking research

- Enter graduate study in pharmacology starting in summer/fall 2011
 - Re-write my MCAT, score 35+ (or at least maintain my score with a 10 in verbal)
 - Spend my free time improving EC's
