Where to live in Richmond?

Here's hoping to get a response from some current students at MCV. I'll be attending MCV this fall, and I'm flying out at the end of this week to find a place to live. I already have an appointment with some realtors in the Fan who specialize in rental properties, but I'm worried that availability in that area is limited. Do any of you know any good areas to look for a 3 bedroom place or have any leads that can be helpful? We're preferrably looking for a house or townhouse close to MCV, a/c is a must. I'll be living with two roommates who are also going to MCV. Any help would be immensely appreciated!
