Where to send last minute letter?

So I am getting a last minute letter for my four waitlistee schools. Would have the prof add this to AMCAS and notify the schools it is there, or have him send it directly? Is it too much to ask a professor to email the letter to four places?

I would probably have the prof send it directly to the schools. It should only take him a minute to send the emails. Hopefully he's smart enough to not just send one email with all four school's listed as intended recipients.
