Does anyone know of a good hotel in the area of VCU. The ones in downtown richmond seems to be shady or expensive. I have an early interview, so I would like to be as close as possible to the school.
thanks

Med students watch TV? And here I was going to sell my 60" plasma to pay for tuition! Guess I gotta get a bigger loan 😛pratik7 said:I was thinking about staying with a student, but im not sure about how the sleeping arrangments would workout and wouldnt want to be up late incase the med student is studying or watching TV![]()

Richmond cabs were surprisingly expensive, so I think trying to find a shuttle would probably be ideal. Sorry, I don't know if there are shuttles (maybe someone else does?), but I would suggest that you avoid cabs if possible...I felt pretty robbed by my cabbies. Best of luck 🙂lmnop said:whoops, I guess I was more worried about how to get from the airport to the hotel, any thoughts on that?

I'm excited and a little nervous for my first interview; its @ VCU next month. I've been trying to decide whether to stay with a student, or hit up that commonwealth park hotel that many of you have had good expericences with.
I think the hotel would be alright just b/c I could make sure I'd be comfortable, and get some sleep, but my advisor seems to think that if I stay with a student, that that student might say something nice about me to the admissions office. Any suggestions/advice?
