Here's are my stats and what are my chances?

GPA-
BCP: 3.40
Science: 3.35
Non-Science: 3.09
Total: 3.20

I graduated with a BA in Anthropology from Stanford in 2002, but with a GPA that was sub 3.0. Since the Fall of '09 I have been taking my dental prereqs at a couple local community colleges. Ideally I would have been able to take more than two classes (10 units) a semester, but I have to work full time.

I have about 5000 volunteer hours from volunteering I did before going back to school.

I am a CA resident and have applied to UCSF, UCLA, UoP, USC, UW, Oregon, Colorado, UNLV, ASDOH, and UConn.

The main part of my application was mailed on 6/24 minus three letters and my DAT score. Two letters were mailed on 7/22 and the final was mailed on 8/5. DAT was sent on 7/13.

As of now I have no invites for interviews.

By tomorrow I will have completed 4 supplemental apps.

What do all of you think?

UoP looks to be your best bet but i'd apply to more schools - nyu, tuft, bu...etc

Exceeding amount of CC credits could be a problem. BU, Tufts and few others don't accept CC credits.

Your monster DAT validates the education you have received at the CC, but some places (as was mentioned above) still won't accept them. That is OK, just cross those off your list. I believe some of the schools you applied to haven't done any interview invites, so don't stress too much yet! I think you'll get some interviews!

Has Colorado sent you a secondary app yet by the way? I know several, well qualified individuals, that have not heard anything from them yet...not even a secondary.

I don't think Colorado has really sent out much other than an "application received" type email, unfortunately!

Thanks. I knew all the schools in MA don't allow for CC units so I didn't even consider applying to them. I would have if I could, but Farmington is close enough. I went to a boarding school in NH for high school, so being back in the North east would be kinda nice. I haven't received anything from Colorado, hopefully soon.
