So I got a 30 on 7R which I am semi-content with (11P, 8V, 11 B). I am wondering how indicative 7R is to the real thing? I took the april test and got a 26O (9P, 7V, 10B). I took 6R last week (11P, 9V, 10 B). Which is more indicative of the real thing, 6R or 7R?

THanks.

I'd say AAMC 7 is more indicative than 6R. I thought it was more difficult. I did roughly the same on both exams.

the AAMC 7 test shud predict ur score +/- 1 in the individual sections and +/- 4 for overall.

theres a 7R out now? wow...

for myself, 5R and 6R predicted better how my scores were... 5R moreso than 6R but a lot of factors on test day can affect your score so i dont know how well any test really predicts it. Its all about how comfortable you are on test day

7R is probably the most indicative. In fact, I wouldn't do any more practice tests after 7R. It's basically the real deal.

What are people's impressions of 4R? I scored a 31 on it yesterday, and scroed a 30 on AAMC 7 the week before. I thought the verbal was way easier on 4R but the sciences were pretty comparable. I actually thought that maybe 4R's sciences might have been a little more difficult.

Tooth,

Did you take 6R? How did that compare to 7R? I made a 29 (10P, 8V, 11B). I'm hoping to get my verbal up another point or so. And maybe a couple more points on the sciences. Anyway, let me know how your score compared on 6R to 7R.

when I had taken 4R initially, I had an embarassing 22. Kind of frustrated I went back to the drawing board and busted my ass for a few weeks and 5R yielded a nice 31. I took a few other practice tests from princeton and kaplan and they put me in the 30-31 range. Your most accurate scores will probably be the ones that you take near test day. For me, 4R was about 6weeks before and 5R was 1.5weeks prior to the real MCAT.
