which books to follow

hi, can any one help me in deciding which books i should follow for NBDE part1 preperation.......

i was a bit confused coz some body told me that for this exam one should not limit himself.....there could b any thing from any where....so one should try to cover as much as he can.....i.e study text boooks or atleast study USMLE kaplan books.....is it true...?

What I know is the the exams are high yield, so it will be repeated, and the decks are very very high yield, so if you study those, questions and decks, you have already covered 80% of the all questions on the board exam, if you want to add more books, will be better, but first you study those first, then you can pick 2 good books : Kaplan lecture notes, and the first aid for NBDE Part I.

well actually i dot have much material yet i have kaplan books and some past testlets....i am still in the process of buying the material...so need some information.i am not in USA rite now,in my country we cat get these books at low cost..but one is not sure if its the latest edition or not?how can one get latest testlets??

You go to www.dentaldecks.com or you can try to find them on www.ebay.com. I bought mine on ebay, 20 bucks cheaper than on decks website. Good luck!

whole set contains kaplan books,first aid,dental decks all 2006and 2007.yes it has past papers too but they r till 2003,u can call him &talk to him yourself here is his number,03008053934 Mr,Ghaffar.
