Which calculus class to take?

Is it better to take:

* 5-unit Calculus for Scientists and Engineers from a community college, or:

* 3-unit Calculus for Business and Life Sciences from a 4-year?

Scientists and engineers will probably be a more rigorous course and will give you a good foundation. If you understand and enjoy math, go for that one. If not, take the biology one.

you know what the funniest thing is? At my school Calc or Business/Life Science was significantly easier than engineering calculus but harder to get an A in because of the curve system that the math department used. But this may not be the case for the OPs school.

If the classes are both on curve system, than go with the most difficult course (but it's just calc honestly it's not that difficult)
But if it's based on points go with easiest one

In terms of what adcoms want to see, most of the advice I've read says don't worry about what type of calculus it is.

Just be sure you can do well in whichever class you choose.
