I am planning out my schedule for spring right now and would like to know which class I should take, neuroscience or virology? Which one would prepare me better for dental school. Thanks

Neuroscience sounds most interesting!

I'm sure both fields have their apllications to dentistry (possibly one moreso than the other), so i'd say choose the one in which you find the most interest.

I took virology and I have yet to find any applications to dentistry. But in all honesty, it was one of the coolest classes that I ever took! 😀

If you really enjoy molecular biology take virology. Why are people so adamant on taking courses that will "prepare" them for dental school? I think you should take advantage of the time you have now to take courses that truely interest you.

If you want to take a class that will have use for you in dentistry, I was recommended by some current dental students to take neuro.

Reason being is b/c these courses will help better prepare you for the courses in D school. Besides, most school recommend that you take advantage of these courses but entry.

I would take kayaking or rollerskating if I were you.

I am taking snowboarding and Bowling next semester.

Have fun in virology 👎
