Definitely Regional and Cardiac. Not sure about the rest. I'm sure it's institution-dependent.

Thanks. Yeah, the asra website has pretty detailed info about Regional Fellows' deals, but I can't find anything similar for pediatric or cardiac or pain fellowships. I thought fellows, attendings, or residents working at institutions with fellowship programs probably know about their own programs at least or maybe someone knows of a site like asra.com for other specialties. ?

This is wrong.

The above poster is correct. It depends on if the fellowship is ACGME approved or not (and maybe some other things). Not all CT programs are ACGME approved. The fellows in these programs are allowed to work part time as an attending. Those in ACGME approved programs are not (at least for the institution wher they are completing their fellowship).

you could in theory work outside the hospital as an attending, if your fellowship program would let you.

btw i do know of fellows that moonlight as attendings in their own hospital. they were attendings before doing fellowship, though.

On freida.com, many programs say that they allow moonlighting within the institution but I have no idea what the incomes end up being with any extra money included. It doesn't necessarily correspond to resident moonlighting which has been discussed here several times, and I was hoping to get more specifics about opportunities for fellows to get a decent income whether as a part time attending, through moonlighting, or however. Anybody have info on specific programs? PM or Post. THANKS.
