Which Gpa do they look at first ?

Is it Overall GPA, Science GPA, or Pre req GPA


b/c my pre-req gpa is low b/c of 3 C's but my science gpa is much higher b/c i got A's in upper level courses and A's in 4 credit Stats and calculus



my 2nd q is What is a safe Science GPA to have ?

I don't think anyone can give you a single straight answer. Everyone, and every school do things differently.

And for your 2nd question, In my opinion, a science GPA of 3.4 and above is very respectable
 
I think it will vary from school to school. I think some schools use an equation (somewhere on this site it was posted) that incorporates your GPAs and DAT scores. That will usually get you an interview. After then it is up to the school. It seems like a few schools really like your science GPA since that is essentially your pre-reqs and most closely related to the dental classes you will take.
