which gpa holds more weight?

I understand that adcoms take into account both gpas and they both are important... but is cGPA or sGPA more scrutinized? I've got a c3.77 s3.85, and am wondering which one do adcoms care about more?

Both are important, but I believe sGPA is slightly more so. Keep in mind this is just a generalization and it may vary school to school. With a 3.77/3.85, you are totally fine in both regards.

Both are very important, but sGPA ranks a tad higher according to the AAMC survey in my signature. Starting with the most important, the six academic factors qualifying as "highest importance" are

1) UGPA: Cumulative science/math
2) MCAT total score
3) Upward or downward grade trend
4) UGPA: Cumulative total
5) Performance in a postbaccalaureate program
6) Selectivity of undergraduate institution (only for Private MD schools)
