Describe a time that you have witnessed someone acting unethically or dishonestly, or experienced behavior of harassment or discrimination. Consider the following in your response: What did you do? What made the situation difficult for you personally? Describe your reaction and what you might do differently now in retrospect.

1. One time my boss at work used some VERY colorful, racial language to describe the way how hard his boss was working him. I felt extremely uncomfortable and he apologized but I did not report it.

2. Some co-workers were clocking in and out improperly to get paid more. I told them it was a bad call and they stopped.

Not to hijack this thread, but I actually was struggling with this prompt. Can I ask if mine is a good idea?

At my nursing home position, I had a situation where a resident made a mildly racist remark ( She said"I'm so pretty for a south asian girl" which has many layer of wrong, but the main idea being it was racist in implying that SA women are normally not supposed to beautiful? What?) and I replied by saying " Thank you" and changing the topic of conversation. One of my coworkers said that was a proper way to handle the situation. I'm not sure if it counts, especially since it's not exactly super racist.
