I have everything prepared to apply in the 16-17 cycle, but my MCAT score is less than impressive. (503: 124, 127, 124, 128). I'm retaking the MCAT in July. I self-studied during my last undergrad semester for the first MCAT, now I'm spending the summer doing a Kaplan Course to hopefully significantly increase my scores for the science based sections.
Is it better to submit my application early (in June) with my existing MCAT score, and add an upcoming test date so they know I am retaking it, or is it best to wait to submit the application until I receive my new set of scores in August.
I don't want to be automatically screened out for low MCAT, but I also don't want to submit too late.
Thanks for the help.
