Which is more accurate in predicting performance on the actual DAT? Kaplan tests or Top Score tests?

Top Score is more similar to DAT, But, do not worry about prediciting your performance, since DAT will be curved. You will be scoring a few points more on DAT vs Kaplan/Top Score. That's how it was for me and a few of my friends.

Use Kaplan tests and Top Score tests to find out the areas you need improvment. DAT is much easier that the Kaplan tests, except for the PAT section.

Good Luck

Personally, having used both Kaplan and Top Score, Kaplan's score was closer to my actual DAT performance. BUT, for some reason, when i went in to take the real test, alot of the questions were similiar to those on Top Score tests. (Top Score seems harder but it better prepared me for the exam than did Kaplan, maybe because Kaplan's questions weren't as challenging)

In my own experience, when I took the DAT most of the bio, ochem, gchem,PAT, and RC where pretty similar to topscore's, the math however, looked more like Kaplan. I would highly recomend getting both resources plus barron's

Were your scores on the actual DAT and Topscore pretty much the same, or was your actual DAT a few points higher?
