last semester i got a C in both Gen Chem 1 and Gen Bio 2, i'm currently retaking them to get my GPA back up cuz i was going through a lot during the semester. i put a toll on myself by adding Trig to it n now it seem as i mite get a C or B, but i dnt know if it'll be better to withdraw or retake it during summer 2, plz greatly appreciate yo advice...P.S(GPA went from 3.64 to 3.2 cuz of 2 C's

Haha I took trig, gen chem 1, and gen bio 2 last semester...weird 😕.... But i feel your pain... Dont retake gen bio 2... its usually not required prereq. You did NOT need to retake them... a C won't kill you, just don't make it a habit.. I would not drop them. Waste of money.

I'm sorry but I disagree. If the OP is retaking a C in Bio 2 and Gen Chem 1, a C on the retake would be devastating. The point of a retake is to get a better grade. I say drop it like it's hot.

Also, OP. Please no text speak. If you want us to take our time to respond to your question, please take the time to formulate a well written and not half assed post.

You might want to check with the school's retake policy about whether a retake replaces a grade with regard to GPA calculation. In other words, if you had 3 hours worth of C for a class and retake it and got a C again, do you now have 6 hours of C calculated into your GPA? If so, I think a withdraw definitely looks better, at least with regard to GPA.
