HI, I am wondering if I am a older non-traditional student interested in applying to med school but dont have the best grades which schools should I apply to and how many is a good number to have a good chance of getting accepted somewhere?? Thanks, Bill

All I can provide is my personal experience- apply to as many as you can afford. Also, check the MSAR- a book that has all the admission requirements for every med school. It will tell you the average age of students at each school. Look for ones with a higher age. It also shows the average entering GPA and the MCAT scores. If you already knew this, sorry. Good Luck! (Also, if you are interested, DO schools tend to admit a higher percent of older applicants)
