At the school I want to take this class at there are two Microbio classes listed. One is Microbiology from the Bio department and the other is Medical Microbiology from the Allied Health Science department. Is it okay if I take Medical Microbiology? Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend it. Micro isn't a pre-req but highly recommended by most schools. The allied health micro is more appropriate for nursing majors.

take the bio microbio course. it can then be worked towards all your GPA where as microbio for the allied health science department will probably be only towards sci. gpa.
