Which of these classes should I take next semester?

So next semester, I basically have 3 options of courses to take that will fit in with my schedule. You might think it's early to be planning my schedule for next semester, but I'm part of a program at my school and they make us do this.

Basically,
A level-100 Arab culture course--requirement for a minor in Arabic (I have more than enough courses but this is a prereq to the minor or major). Easy A. Not rigorous at all. Surveys Arab culture. Seems boring and I wouldn't learn anything at all.

A bioethics course. Interesting. An easy A. Wouldn't learn much and could probably read up on bioethics topics on my own time.

Theoretical statistics. Super interesting. Extremely hard class and requires a lot of time but the curve is super generous. (A to A- is what most people get).

Thanks!

Take what your interested in, unless you have a really tough schedule, then take the easiest option.

Bioethics. It's fun.

Is it just statistics or is it Probability and Statistics? I found the Probability portion of my probability and stats. class to be very painful as it seems very much geared towards the math majors and not the simple minded engineer such as myself. The stats portion on the other hand was both fun AND useful (already use it on a regular basis at work). If it's just stats., I'd say go for it - otherwise bioethics imo.

I took the prob and stats class you're talking about before. This stats class is the sequel geared for math and stats majors (I'm a math minor).

I'll probably have a tough schedule next semester (Advanced Biochem 1, Advanced Arabic 1, BVPs of PDEs—a math class, and Molecular Biology), so I think the level 100 Arabic course or Bioethics would the best and both would be nice to get away from too much math/science.

Bioethics sounds a lot more interesting than a survey of Arab culture, but would med schools care if I get a minor in Arabic or not? I'm taking these Arabic courses for me to get fluent and the level 100 Arabic class won't help me at all towards my goal, but should I get the minor to show the med schools that I have interests outside of math and science?

Also, I probably shouldn't have said I wouldn't learn much in the bioethics class. I meant that there's a great deal of available literature that I could use to learn about bioethics outside of the course.

By the way, though my username's "Mounir", I'm not Arab (definitely not one of those Arabs in my classes who takes the classes for easy As&#8230😉. Just to clarify!

So next semester
Thanks!

I don't understand why this is a decision that requires the input of anonymous people from the internet.

But if you really need my advice, I think you should take the Arab course next semester and eat a turkey sandwich for lunch tomorrow.

I think bioethics is the best choice of the three. You will learn a lot!

Does anyone here think Bioethics will help in medical school interviews? Just want to see some opinions on this.
