Which applicants record will look better to the adcom?

15-18 units (all science/math prereqs) with 3.2

12 units (with only 2 sciences and GE) and 4.0?

Depends on where you're going but probably 12 with the 4.0

Call me stupid, but how vague is this question. In order to get into pharmacy programs, you must complete more than 18 units of math/science in pre-reqs. Secondly, from the literature I have seen, if an applicant is missing a lot of math/science pre-reqs but plans to take the majority during the final semester or two, his/her chances are jeopardized because most schools like to see A MAJORITY if not all pre-reqs (esp. math and science) completed by time of application.

I might have interpreted it wrong, but I think they are talking about units per semester. For example if some is taking 18 credits and gets a 3.2 for the semester as opposed to 12 credits and gets a 4.0

Why not aim high and go for 15 (I assume semester hours) with a 4.0? Or 18 with a 3.8? And it's possible to do that while working 20-30 hrs per week. Pharm schools are full of people who have done it.
