which schools are the most competitive?

I finished filling out my application, but I don't even know what schools to apply too! Which schools are the most competitive (highest GPA/MCAT?) and which schools take the most in state? I'm from TX, so I already applied to TCOM through TMDSAS, but I want to know what schools I won't have a chance at, b/c they accept 90% in state. Thanks!

I would say apply to a wide range of schools that appeal to your geographic preferences. Also, as a general rule...I think most of the public schools prefer their in-state applicants. Since you're from Texas, I would apply to OSU-COM, AZCOM and ATSU-Mesa for sure. If you're concerned about being competitive you might check out mdapplicants.com if you haven't already. At that site you can compare your own stats with previously successful applicants. It's really hard to say which schools are the most competitive to get into -- they're all pretty difficult IMO.
