Which Schools should I apply?

Hi all...

I am new to MD application, and am hoping for some advice on my US med application.

I am a Canadian student with GPA around 3.9, and MCAT score of 40R (15B, 15P, 10V). My EC is, I believe, probably below average. I have volunteer experience in hospitals, some research experience (worked in labs and have taken project courses) including one clinical research experience, some tutor experience, and few club activities.

Any advices on which schools I should be considering? I'd like to keep it safe this year, so I don't mind applying to a bunch.

You have great stats. Check out the spreadsheet and see which schools take a good number of international applicants:

With those numbers and some decent ECs you should have no problem getting into a top end school.

Pretty much anywhere you want. Pick 15 or so schools, maybe 4-5 of which are safeties. You're going to have a lot of success.

I don't know much about applying from Canada. Do a search on canadian friendly schools, or maybe someone else will be along to help.
