I mistakenly applied to UMKC last year. After already sending in secondary fees, I called them to see where they were in the cycle. The guy asked me what state I'm from and then he flat out told me I won't be getting an interview invite. So apparently they give preferences to Missouri residents first, then Kansas, Arkansas, Hawaii and New Mexico.
They don't have a dental school. Probably some agreement like WICHE but not that extreme?
I'm a fellow Minnesota resident too, checkout my predents
Certain states have other types of WICHE-like pacts with other states. University of Minnesota has seats reserved for Wisconsin residents I believe, that's just an example.
