Pitt? One of my dentist in our office graduated from Pitt's she said it's a good school, so i included that too. She's a really good dentist. I'm not familiar with the other 3 schools you are choosing from.
I mistakenly applied to UMKC last year. After already sending in secondary fees, I called them to see where they were in the cycle. The guy asked me what state I'm from and then he flat out told me I won't be getting an interview invite. So apparently they give preferences to Missouri residents first, then Kansas, Arkansas, Hawaii and New Mexico.

Indiana and Pitt accept more out of state than the other two, and maybe you'll be taken more seriously at Indiana because you're from the midwest? And definitely check out Dr. Reo's schools

The School of Dentistry is a state supported institution and participates in the student exchange program provided by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) which supports students from western states without dental schools (Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming).
Certain states have other types of WICHE-like pacts with other states. University of Minnesota has seats reserved for Wisconsin residents I believe, that's just an example.
