Which sport would look better. I know its a silly question but I'm a bit confused.

I could join a flag football team at my school or I could go to Allstar cheerleading. I'm confused on what to do.

well you sure did (ARE).....

This is absolutely ridiculous. I think the sheer, animalistic athleticism of intramural flag football is the no-brainer choice here! Forget the grace of rowing or the grimacing marathoner, if you're a serious pre-med out to impress adcoms, you'd better be a flag footballer. Don't plan your extracurriculars in terms of what you actually enjoy doing, but plan in terms of what will look "good".

Play flag football...and every other play you can come out and cheer...its a win win situation... problem solved

don't be such a tool - persue what interests you more!! Flag football vs cheer leading will not trully make much of a difference in acceptance.

You know what I thought about it for an hour and then I realised what A DUMB POST.
I'm really losing it!!!I need serious help...or a day job to keep me busy.

Really not making cheerleaders look good =p

If you were a guy, I'd say go for cheerleading. You can put down the numerous jokes, put-downs and occaissional beatings you had to endure while on the squad.

But seriously, do what you enjoy...it won't make much difference.

Do what inspires you the most, regardless of what you think will "look better". Schools are going to value that you are truly going for what you are most passionate about, that you are committed to it, and that you have a good story to tell them about it.

Be a wrestler, few of us are former doctors as it is and it's a highly competitive sport with insane amounts of dedication.

These are leisure activities, nothing to put on a med school application. That is like me putting that workout and play poker on mine.
