Hey guys,
I'm thrilled to have received offers from vet schools in Australia, but now I'm wondering which one to enroll in. My interest is in avian medicine, so what I would like to know is that which school has better clinical performance in the fields of avian and/or exotic medicine. The following are the unis under consideration:
University of Melbourne - offer
Murdoch University - offer
University of Sydney - to be announced
University of Queensland - to be announced
Murdoch was my first priority, but now I'm considering other options as well. As far as I know, based on the course structure, all unis have around 1-2 subjects in these fields. University of Sydney also has an independent Avian, Reptile and Exotic Pet Hospital. That's about all that I know.
So to sum it up, I would like to know:
A) Which university has the most number of, variety of cases in avian and/or exotic medicine?
B) Which university has better clinical facilities?
C) Which school offers a more reputable internship/residency program in the field?
D) What are the relevant courses like in these schools?
Thank you for reading, even if you have no clue to the answer. Peace.
