I say MCAT scores just because that's the only one for which there was a set date and time to agonizingly count down towards. I guess there were for some post-interview decisions as well, but it wasn't as bad since the tension was diluted across several schools.

Oh the match was not nearly as stressful as watching your patients teeter on the brink of death each night, with chief no where in sight. Woo.

How about these waitlists tho? Agonizing because you don't know how long you have to wait!

Other..admission decision from top choice med school/only school I interviewed at. The wait is agonizing, and its only been a week.

For me it was the MCAT because I put so much into it. Waiting for post-interview decisions wasn't that bad because I knew in the back of my mind that if I did get a rejection then I had 15+ other schools still in play. But I guess it's way different if you have no acceptances and are waiting back on a school in April or something.

Definitely waiting for the first acceptance. MCAT was okay because I knew for sure when it would come. Waiting post-interview made me lose sleep at night, definitely the worst waiting period of my life haha!

This reminds me of my first couple weeks as an EMT. Whenever the radio would go off, I'd nearly ish my pants...

Bucking the trend, I had the hardest time waiting for interviews earlier in the season. I was panicking daily while many of my friends/peers (and of course, all of you on SDN) were getting great interviews while I was sitting there with nothing. Finally I got a few interviews, and within a couple weeks I had my first acceptance. Getting a decision that quickly felt great and put my mind at ease about my other post-interview decisions. Overall, I'm very happy; however, many weeks and months of pre-interview silence from other schools has been a major test of my patience.
