half of the basic science : subject-based

while all the rest: random, timed, mixed

Is this reasonable? Because basic science needs more memorizing and repeated practices, while systems need more relation with other stuffs.

Any suggestion ?

Thanks

It's tough to say, but for me, I didn't do mixed until I saw everything at least once (so that was maybe 2.5 weeks into my studying). I didn't want to be frustrated about trying to learn something I haven't seen in context.

Whatever works best for you. I did subject based, tutor mode. Answered a question, took notes in first aid. It was the most efficient way for me to complete First Aid (a feat in itself) and learn all of the important material it provides.

i prefer random timed blocks simply because its the most realistic experience

I typically do 2 when I wake up after I eat breakfast and then i go over them at night b4 bed

I like doing system based/subject based vs random. I'd rather get a full taste of each system, rather than seeing bits and pieces. For my second run, I'll do random.

I alternate between timed and tutorial. A lot of time, I'll be too lazy after doing a timed block to review all the answers, versus if I review each explanation after each question in tutor mode.

I haven't noticed a major difference in average score between timed and tutor. But, I don't know how much harm I'm doing by not doing multisubject/multisystem.

yup im lucky if i finish everything once, so i dont have that luxury.. ill prob just do focused blocks of wrong answers 2-3 dasy b4 my test in my weakest areas to see if I do better 2nd time around. If I do, then i most assuredly learned from my mistakes in the other areas and dont need to see them again.

I hardly did any timed blocks. I felt Uw was a teaching tool and that's it. I used self assessments to gauge where I was at. I rarely reviewed time sets in as much detail as I'd review tutor sets.

UW is definitely a great learning tool.

However, I think doing timed blocks is important so you know how fast or slow you are. Managing your time on the actual test is crucial.
