med school - longer term benefits, potentially more fulfilling life, I actually enjoy what I do as an intern/resident

Although an argument could be made that you could save that 125k and live off of it comfortably for the rest of your life...

Which would you choose?

Med school. If it's at least $10M dollars per year, then I'll choose that offer. $125,000 is hardly anything.
 
Take the money then use it to become a doctor debt and hassle free.
 
Live cheaply for a few years, golfing every day. Save 100,000 a year. Take half a million and join a hedge fund pool. Take the other half a million and purchase a high interest annuity.
