...or PAY in the AMCAS organization in order to speed up my verification process?

I just went active last week and I am looking at another possible 7weeks before verification. I spoke to one of my schools today and they will not proceed until they receive my verified application. 😡 😡 🙁

This is maddening. I submitted the first week of July. Why am I still soo behind?

All I can say is just relax because their is nothing you can do. AMCAS is just like that. I suggest you look into becoming an alcoholic or pick up a good hobby to relax. Trust me it gets much much worse than AMCAS in the application line.

I think they need to provide Pre-meds with free medications or psychologists during this time of the year. I think I lost my mind about 6 months ago.

i have a lot of anger about being a late-pre-meddy that i need to deal with 😡

If you submitted in late July why did you only go active last week? Did you send in your transcripts late? If that's the case, then I have to say it definitely sucks to be waiting, as I am too, but you kinda shot yourself in the foot if you left the transcripts till the end.

Say it ain't soo I sent in my transcript requests the first day in July. They received two but the last one took about a month (not my fault..stupid community colleges)...now I suffer ...woe is me.🙁

I took every precaution to be early...but I was beat by the system. That becoming an alcoholic idea doesn't seem to bad at all....

If it's the system that legitimately has you down, then you have my deepest sypathies. And if you're interested in becoming an alcoholic, I can set you on the right path-- there's a ton of booze in my apartment right now. Wanna come drown your sorrows in the drink?

I'm right there with you, Bush Baby. I submitted on July 6, all my transcripts were in, and I'm still not verified. It makes me want to drink myself silly.

🙄 🙄 yeah..there is light, unfortunately you have to be verified to see it. I have half a mind to call them and ask them what is taking so long?

Hi Busy Baby...

I was verified at the beginning of August sometime and was active on July 20th....took about 2 weeks or so. Hoping for the best for you. Gotta get back to work on this UC Davis secondary application! Good luck and stay positive!!!!

I am in the same boat. But I lived through AMCAS the first year it went online, so this has been a walk in the park. It will happen. Try hard not to check your email and get involved in something else for awhile.

Just some friendly advice....... now excuse me I have to go check my email to see if I am verified...😀 😛 😀 😛 😀 😛
