Who here has applied for psychiatry?

As an American grad, were things as "easy" as everyone says they are? Exactly how competitive is the application process when students are interested in programs such as Columbia, UCLA, Mass Gen, Hopkins, etc.? Any information would be appreciated!

In general, Psychiatry is an easy match -- especailly for an AMG. The top programs in the field would obviously be a much tougher match due to fewer spots and everyone wanting to go to the program.
