Agreed, I would apply to at least 15 schools no matter how attractive an applicant I was.

If so, if I were a Dean, this is exactly the kind of arrogance I would want to screen out, I would think. At the interview when she's asked where else she's applying, and she says something to the effect of "nowhere -- I don't really need to"... I could see this turning out ugly. It's almost worth applying elsewhere just to have a better answer to this question.

A friend of mine applied to one school two years ago (UCSF) and got in. I think the combination of URM, 40S/4.0 (from UCLA) made that a pretty safe bet but still...

UCSF has EDP? I thought I remember looking through the MSAR last week and seeing that none of the UCs had it...
