Why not take the August test?

b/c theres no way i can be ready in time....

How bad is horrible? People have the false impression that you need to have a 33 or 35.

I've seen people complain about having a 30. I think if you have a 27, you should apply. I think if you have no score lower than an 8, you should apply. I think if you have straight 7 and 8's you should apply to DO schools.

So, a 21 or 22 to 27 will serve you well for DO programs

A, 27 or better is MD. This is broad, but it's my best guess. I have friends that have found success with low scores.s

So, if you don't mind tell us, how did you do? It may not be that bad. And you might find that you're competitive for Osteopathic programs.

trust me its BAD...

which surprised me b/c i did ok in my Kaplan tests (avg about 28) and after the exam it self i was very pleased with what i had done..i thought i did semi well...this was just a HUGE shocker...maybe i bubbled wrong..who knows...

Well I feel your pain. I did aweful on the physical sciences portion, which made my overall score look like crap even though I did well on the other sections. I have to take it again, no question about it.

The thing I hate most is that I was making 29-30's on the 7 practice MCAT's I had taken (both Kaplan and AAMC), and the real MCAT from April was my worst score ever...I just don't understand. Oh well.

My dilemma now is trying to figure out how to take the August MCAT and shuffle around some classes I was going to take this summer that would fulfill OHSU's requirements. No telling how it will end up. So trust me, I empathize with you 100%.
