why are all the CBT test sites filled up?

this is so annoying. all the cbt test sites within 100 miles of metrodetroit are all filled up for june 15.

hello fellow michigander! You should have applied earlier! Why dont you try taking it in august?
If you really want to take it in june then go somewhere farther than 100 miles! then rent a hotel for a night! hah...

i was just rejected for the 2007 class. so i'm retaking the mcat and i don't want to wait two years.

and this piece of crap registration is way too slow. moreover, you can only check one site at a time.

if i take it at a canadian location, then would there be a problem when i apply for medschool again?

Hey there! I registered pretty early for June 15 but rescheduled for early Aug. When I was looking for spots to reschedule in, there were no seats available in Michigan so I signed up for Ohio. Just recently I was checking for new availabilities and saw that they added 2 new sites, one in Downtown Detroit and one in Toledo. You should try to get a spot where you can so that you can take it in Aug. and I know they had tons of spots just recently. I believe that ppl that just got scores back probably took up alot of the open spots so you better get in where you fit in. 😉 Hope everything works out for you. 👍

hey, im a michiganian. and yes its michiganian not michigander. . but i had trouble registering for the august 20th test date and that was like a month ago. i checked aamc like 3 times a day and eventually found one open. just keep checking.

i'm not taking it in august. i'm going on vacation after the june 15 test (if i can get it).

I've found that people tend to reschedule the exam 1-2 weeks before the actual test date because they don't feel ready, leading to seats opening up close to the test date. I was scheduled to take it on 5/31 further away from where I live, but I was able to find an open seat for the same date earlier this week about 30 min. from where I live. Just keep checking and keep your fingers crossed that someone will open up a seat!
