I don't seem to understand...shouldn't their emphasis on humanity in patient care be considered a positive factor?
For someone like me, who is not interested in research, i just want to be a doctor and interact and treat people. Is DO a good option? The match process isn't harder for DO's is it?

lets have this moved to Pre Osteo please.

oh boy, here we go again.

They are easier to get into than MD schools.

This thread is going to get locked up pretty fast.

No DOs are not looked down upon i know many people who would rather see a DO over an MD (and vice versa).

There is more residency spots for MDs because there is a ton more MD schools than DO schools.

The most accurate statement to say is most people don't know as much about DOs because they are much fewer in number.

OP, please review the FAQ section in the pre-ostepathic forums to learn about the DO career choice. All information you will need is located there.
