Why are most of the 1yr MS programs on the E. Coast?

Does anyonw know of some other 1 year MS programs? I would prefer some in the Midwest, but any will be great. Thanks.

I think Brandeis University has a 1yr program - I'm not sure.....check them out at <a href="http://www.brandeis.edu" target="_blank">http://www.brandeis.edu</a>
