What is your year in college? Major? College name and location? and do you expect to get citizenship here? When do you plan on applying? and out of curiosity, where is your home country?

I'm a sophomore at Indiana University @ Bloomington
Psychology BA major/chem minor,
and I'm not so sure about getting a citizenship here,
my home country is South Korea, and all males at my age have
2 year military service requirement, so I'm not so sure what my life would be like after a professional school.

It would certainly be nice to get a green card, but to do that,
I have to either
1) get married to a citizenship holder,
2) get sponsored by a company
3) work here long enough to get a green card first, then work a few more years to take the test

That is way too far in the future, so I am not really worrying about that yet.

Okay, so you are indeed an international student. So the best bet: try checking out the international student forums. The folks there can perhaps help you out better.

Since I have lived long enough in Indiana, I will be considered as a resident despite the fact that I am not a citizen in the states.

Also, that is particularly why I am going to apply to privates schools besides IUSD.

And, I don't know which medical school you go to, but I assume if it's one of the carribean schools, I cannot afford to go there :-(

as stated in my previous posts, i'm going to dental school, not medical school. you entirely missed my point: medical, dental, optometry - any school can accept internationals. decide 1 profession that would desire as a career and apply.
