Hey all,

So there is an app question where it asks you when you moved to this Georgia and why you moved? What are they looking for? I don't really know how to answer that question...

They want to see that you are a bona fide resident and didn't just move there to have an advantage in admissions.

well I moved there to be with my boyfriend. My parents and I had a falling out. I go to school in NY tho.

Will that look bad?

I suppose that it depends on which state school you are applying to. This is for the Georgia application, correct? If you still consider yourself a resident of that state and have not done anything to compromise it (e.g. register to vote in another state, have a drivers license elsewhere, etc), then just provide proof that you are 100% Georgian or whatever the state may be.

Oh I mean I moved to Georgia from Michigan while I was going to school in NY. GA is where I go to in the summer and winter breaks.

You should call the school and find out for sure (look into what darktruth said above)
