Hey Guys..Does anyone know Dr. Brian Jenkins Step 1 score??!

hahaha. what if he learned it all after med school? what if he didn't become a gunner until residency?!?!

some of my most knowledgeable profs openly admitted they were bottom of the class in med school and then bloomed late.

lol ^ yeah that's what I was thinking. I just feel like if someone is going to teach they should at least be a good example. What if he just learned it all from students that previously took the exam. That's like a kid in high school giving you advice on how to get a 90+ on a test that he only got a 65 on! And EasyE why are you so offended?! Do you work for him or something? lol

And J Dub I believe it all matters. Sometimes these scores are what differentiate you from a family physician to a neurosurgeon. Don't get me wrong I love DIT. It was just a curious question.

My point is it does not matter once you are done what you scored on something. All your patients only care if you are compassionate and know what you are doing. A standardized test can not determine whether or not you will be a good doctor.

But yeah, if you want something competitive, you need to do well. I just need a 220-230.

Yeah I see your point. Well I need to get at least a 230+ minimum in order to get in a Surgery Residency. I wonder if your Step 1 score is low and your Step 2 score is high if they'll still consider it. Hmmmm...

It is all an average. Little less Step 1...........little more in other areas. It is not all that black and white. Why there are averages. Just do your best to put yourself where you need to be. Best you can do.
