Why do many DOs hide their degrees?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

There are plenty of DO's down here at the Mayo Clinic: A few in PM&R, one in Ortho, a few in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, one in OB/GYN, and so on. Come on down and visit...

That is a fine, fine idea. Maybe later in the year ... ?

Meanwhile, my impossible task is to find a DO who works in a community-type clinic or a hospital that allows shadowing, and who I can shadow outside of my 8-to-5 job. As Keanu would say, "whoa."
